The Yellow Belt is a bright marker on the path, representing the foundation upon which all future learning is built.

Their mutual journey reflects the shared values of perseverance and growth, capturing the essence of unity that karate promotes.
6th Kyu Blue Belt - The Steadfast Journey of Lewis Van Veen: Lewis Van Veen's attainment of the 6th Kyu Blue Belt is a testament to his steadfast commitment and the hours of disciplined training he has invested. The Blue Belt symbolises a deepening understanding of karate's principles and an enhanced level of skill, both of which Lewis has achieved with admirable dedication.
5th Kyu Blue Belt-Green Tip - William Mcinerny's Green Milestone: With William Mcinerny's promotion to the 5th Kyu Blue Belt-Green Tip, we witness a karateka who has embraced the martial arts' transformative journey with vigor. William's progress is a clear indicator of his hard work, his willingness to commit to the growth of others, and the robust support system of our dojo community.
This grading event was not just about the belts and the tips; it was about the stories of individual growth, the forging of a spirited community, and the unwavering pursuit of personal excellence. Each student who stepped onto the mat came away with more than just a new rank; they carried with them the pride of their dojo, the respect of their peers, and a renewed sense of purpose in their karate practice.
Following the grading, blackbelts in attendance in support of the grading, Sensei's John Baruta, Andrew Ramacciotti, and Paul Lica; and Dai Sempai Rick Gawel, spoke highly of the standard demonstrated by the students from the Castlemaine Dojo.
Let us carry these accomplishments as a beacon of inspiration, reminding us that every step taken in practice is a step towards greater self-discovery and mastery. To our successful students, you've raised the bar for yourselves and for all of us at Castlemaine Dojo.
Until the next grading, let's train with the spirit of these achievements fueling our every move.
