At RKD Karate, we believe everyone deserves access to high-quality martial arts training in a supportive, inclusive environment. That’s why our pricing is simple, all-inclusive, and great value for individuals and families.

All memberships are paid weekly by direct debit and include your membership fees – no hidden charges, no complicated terms.

Training is delivered across 36 weeks each year (aligned with the school term), and fees are averaged across 52 weeks to provide consistent, affordable weekly payments.

Class Fees & Membership Options
How are fees paid?

All memberships are paid via weekly direct debit, managed securely by CBChange. Your fee is deducted automatically each week and includes your membership — no additional admin or annual fees.
How is the weekly fee calculated?

RKD Karate operates across a 36-week training year (four 10-week terms). Your total yearly fee is averaged over 52 weeks, which means consistent, affordable payments all year round — and one free class per term is included to cover possible cancellations.
What’s included in the membership fee?

Your fee includes:

  • Weekly training

  • Membership administration

  • A free uniform when joining

  • Four weeks of free training as part of our promotion for new students. 
What if I miss a class or go on holiday?

Your weekly fee remains consistent regardless of attendance. If you're away for more than a week, you can submit a Membership Suspension Request via our Member Services Portal. Up to 6 weeks per year can be suspended for a small weekly fee.
Can I change my membership type later (e.g. add a family member)?

Yes, you can add or remove family members at any time via the Member Services Portal. Your direct debit will be adjusted automatically
Do I have to pay grading fees separately?

Yes. Grading fees are charged separately once you submit a grading application. You’ll receive an invoice before grading day.

  • Colour Belts: $45

  • Black Belts (Shodan and above): $150

  • 15% discount applies for families with 3 or more members grading together
Do you offer casual attendance?

Yes! We offer a 5-Class Casual Pass for $75. It’s valid for 12 months and is great for students who can’t commit to weekly training.
